Worthy of Publication Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients

1 Rhodes Sweet Bread Dough
*1 stick softened butter
*½ cup sugar
*1 teaspoon cinnamon
*note* This is per loaf of dough

Glaze mix
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup water
2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions
Thaw Rhodes sweet bread dough and let rise (instructions on bread)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Roll out dough into rectangle
Mix 1 stick of softened butter with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon
Spread butter/sugar/cinnamon mixture evenly over the dough
Roll the dough up into a log (long side towards long side)
Spray round or square pan (for one loaf) with Pam
Cut log into 1 1/2" to 2" slices and arrange in pan, sliced side down, they can be touching
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
While baking the rolls....cook the glaze:
Combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil and boil for 15 minutes
Remove pan from oven and pour 1/2 sauce over rolls, flip rolls over and pour the other 1/2 sauce over rolls... then return to oven to continue baking.
Total baking time is just 35 minutes.

Cooks Note: The glaze mix recipe makes more than enough for a double recipe of the cinnamon rolls. So go ahead and make two…just double the ingredients for the dough portion of the recipe, as noted above. Also, it took a couple of times making this recipe to make it right. When we double the recipe, we will use a 9x13 baking dish.
